Underground Atlanta’s architecture is some of the city’s richest. Most of the storefronts date from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and are generally Victorian in style.   Many significant architectural features survived from original storefronts, including ornate marble, granite archways, cast iron pilasters, decorative brickwork, and hand-carved wood posts and panels.

Throughout the property you will find historic cars parked along cobblestone and vintage photographs adorning the walls.  We have a variety of historic markers detailing the area's history and bronze statues reflecting on the past.  Be sure to stop by the Information Booth for a self-guided history tour brochure.
